But as the great hot-climate cultures of the world know, that doesn’t mean we have to give up on soups. With wellness educator Tracey Miller and farmer-foodie Mary Brower, the soups in this course will keep your stove cold and your blender busy, from tomato-based classics like gazpacho to fruit soups and green smoothies. Registration by email required, and space is limited to fifteen participants. Cost is $30 for members of the public, $15 for Brookford Farm CSA members. Includes a meal with the food we’ve prepared. Gift certificates available.
August 24: Food Preservation Class to Support Willow Pond Community Farm, 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Description: Does your refrigerator hold more vegetables that you can eat? Not sure what to do with the extras or how to preserve them to make them last through the winter?
