Got some Leftovers? Use Safe Plastics to Store Them

GreeningYourFamily3-187x300In my class on Thinking Outside the Box: Wholesome Breakfasts and Lunches for Kids, I talk about which plastics to avoid (#’s 3,6,7)and offer some suggestions on “healthy” lunch boxes and water bottles, but I don’t talk about home food storage. I found a nice summary of how to safely store all your food and thought it useful to share with you. These storage tips are from Lindsey Carmichael, a local from the Seacoast. She just came out with a book called “Greening Your Family.” This guide will help you make informed decisions about all the home products you all use on a regular basis. This would make a great holiday gift for a friend or family member!
