Thank You

- Ladies enjoying a night out with some healthy treats
I wanted to express my gratitude to all the women who have hosted or participated in my cooking and wellness classes this past year. I’ve learned so much from everyone – especially that, as moms, we’re all in this together. Â
Preparing 3 (or more) meals a day for your families isn’t easy, but we all shared our stories bout the daily “feeding frenzy” whether it’s how we can’t get our kids to each vegetables, how we just don’t have enough time in the day, or how difficult it can be to figure out what’s healthy and what’s not.
To the hostesses, thanks so much for letting me take over your kitchen for the night and inviting us all into your home:
Amanda Blakeley, a dear friend, who has hosted more than 10 classes at her home in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Thank you also to her husband and two boys for letting us take over on Monday nights!
Amy Bevan, from South Berwick, Maine, who hosted a class last spring. Amy hosts a blog: www.thepranamama.com/ and will also be hosting another class in early 2010. Love your new blog Amy!
Jessica Hill, from Wellesley, Massachusetts, who invited me to speak at her mother/daughter book club last spring. Those young girls sure are smart!

- Moms celebrate a ladies night out and enjoy fall harvest recipes
Leigh Tellier, from Hampton, New Hampshire, who also supplied some of the fall harvest from her husband’s organic vegetable service, Waithaka Organics. (www.waithakafarm.com)
Wendy Falvey, from Weston, Massachusetts. We enjoyed your new kitchen and what a treat to have your mom join us.
Heather Hurtt, from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who opened up her home to sponsor a series of three classes sponsored by the Seacoast Mother’s Association.  Also, special thanks to Liz Driscoll who helped launch the series.
Shannon, Gennaro, from Dover, New Hampshire, who opened up her home for a class on one-pot meals. I think her husband was pretty happy there were leftovers!
Suzie Snow, from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who helped Dr. Margaux French and I launch a series of classes starting with nutrition basics.Â
Christine Martin, from Brentwood, New Hampshire, who hosted a ladies night out and included both her mother and her mother-in-law!
Thanks all!
